DEZSŐ T. TAMÁS: ARCOKAT NEM
Eddigi alkotói tevékenységem során megfigyeltem, hogy néhány konstelláció, hangulat, alaphelyzet, állapot, mint vizuális jelenség, vissza-visszatér különböző koncepciók alapján készített dokumentarista sorozataim egyes felvételein és válik közöttük valami, az eredetiektől teljesen eltérő elv alapján megfogalmazható összefüggés alapjává. Az egyik ilyen felfedezett összefüggés köré válogatott, az eddigiekben nem tudatosan készített, ezért lassan bővülő fotósorozatomnak az "Arcokat nem" címet adtam. Ezeken a pillanatfelvételeken (portfólió első fejezete) arcukat eltakaró, a fényképezőgéptől elforduló, bizalmatlan, látszani nem akaró, vagy a fotográfia eszközeivel látszani nem akarónak láttatott emberek szerepelnek esetenként groteszk, de mindig spontán helyzetekben. Az Ösztöndíj ideje alatt ebből a néhány fotóból álló sorozat-vázlatból kiindulva szeretnék létrehozni, a tudatalatti, látens koncepció tudatossá tételével egy teljes, kiállítható, esetleg katalógusban megjelentethető szubjektív dokumentarista sorozatot.

TAMÁS DEZSŐ T.: NOT THE FACES
In the course of my creative career, I have observed how some constellations, moods, situations, and statuses would return as visual phenomena in certain images of the documentary series I created based on various concepts. As such, these photographs were joined into a contexture based on a principle that was entirely different from the original principles. I gave the title Not the Faces to one of my photo series based on such a found interrelation; the series is only slowly expanding as I had not been consciously working on it until now. These snapshots (the first chapter of my portfolio) feature people in spontaneous – even if sometimes grotesque – situations, hiding their faces, turning away from the camera, mistrustful, not wanting to be seen or to be presented by the toolset of photography. During the grant period, I aim to create a complete subjective documentary series suitable for exhibition or even publication in a catalogue, based on this draft series of a few images, via the apperception of this subconscious, latent concept.
